The second half of the show will feature guests Louise-Annette Burgess & others discussing the plans and efforts to try to save the Whiteside Theater in downtown Corvallis. Joining Host Craig Solomon was American Cancer Societies Wendy Fisher who discussed the annual event, which is co-sponsored by KGAL and KSHO. - This weekend it's a big weekend in Historic Downtown Albany. All day Saturday (May 5th from 9am to 6pm) is the KGAL / KSHO Family Living Expo in Historic Downtown Albany. On Friday afternoon (May 4, 2007 from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m ) is the Upstairs Downtown Tour in Historic Downtown Albany. Visitors will get a chance to see some of the unique urban living spaces in the in the upper stories of downtown buildings, some of which have not been open to the public for years. Rick Rogers from the Albany Downtown Association will join us to discuss these two weekend events. Also joining us Daryl Klarr from SELCO Community Credit Union and Chris and Lisa from the MusiCafe Rock School expo performances.
The Family Living Expo has moved to Historic Downtown Albany this Saturday. The event (centered at the Two Rivers Market) is free and will have multiple Live Entertainment Venues, Booths, Vendors, Contest Prizes up for grabs, Antique Appraisal Show feature Portland TV's Expert Antique Appraiser Gary Germer, and more!
