- This will be a special holiday best of from previous Benton County Commissioner Round Table Discussions. The show is aired from 11:06 to 11:30 the fourth Wednesday of each month on Valley Talk.
We aired an interview about Benton County Parks and Open Spaces that was recorded early in the fall (note this is the unedited original version of the show).
- Since we initially interviewed Pat Robinson (Oregon Foster Parent Association), Dwayne Gaddie (Double Draw Publishing) and Peter Cornell about their project to create music and videos to help the stop of the destruction of Methamphetamine, the group has been featured on KATU and on front page article in last weeks Salem Statesman Journal. We repeated this interview in which we discussed a on-profit project designed by members who have had their lives touched by the tragedy of family members getting involved in the destruction of drugs (Methamphetamine). Included at the end of the interview we played "A Fathers Prayer" by Pat Robinson.

Segment two was a classic segment from a live on location Law Talk from the Willamette Valley Ag Expo held in November 2004 at the Linn County Fairgrounds and Expo Center. This featured Jim Egan, Bob Carlson and from the Farmers Almanac, Bob Farmer.

- Mike Schmidt from the Habitat for Humanity Bargain Building Supply joined host Jim Willhight to discuss the supply store, run as a fundraiser for the organization. Mike is an Adult volunteer for the Boy and Cub Scouts and some of the upcoming scouting events were discussed, including the Cub Scout Lock In Scheduled for January 2005. You might note his nervousness as he was on call with his wife expecting their first children, twins!

- Peter Butler joined us to discuss upcoming holiday concerts, including the annual Lebanon Community Choir event.

- Local resident Michael Spasaro joined us with a great monthly (Second Tuesday each month) Cop Talk. Michael is an DEA Agent, working in Oregon, in country and overseas. Mr. Spasaro, now retired from law enforcement ran for Oregon State Legislative District 11. He is the current Linn County Republican Chairman. Some of the items discussed his experience as a police office in Florida which included street work and detective work in vice, narcotics and organized crime.
- He also discussed his experience working undercover for the Drug Enforcement Administration. We discussed the current local Meth (Methamphetamine) epidemic, the Beavis and Butthead Labs and his interest in changing carriers to create laws (political office) Mr. Spasaro also appeared on KATU-TV's town meeting to discuss the Oregon Meth (Methamphetamine) epidemic during a special KATU-TV town hall program.

Radio Ray's Christmas Card Program on KGAL This years show will air on the afternoon of Thursday, December 24th from 3 to 7 pm,m and again that evening, Christmas Eve, 10 pm to 2 am and again on Christmas Day, December 25th from 10am to 2 pm.
Also the show will air on our sister station 920 KSHO from Christmas Eve, 10 pm to 2 am and again on Christmas Day, December 25th from 10am to 2 pm..
