Daily Drawing Schedule
During the 1580 KGAL Morning Update with Radio Ray and Weldon Greig we will draw from each of the sponsors. We will draw one name sometime between 6 and 8 am. Radio Ray will announce the name drawn on the air. The person selected in the drawing will have 60 minutes to phone KGAL at 926-5425 or 451-5425 and verify their entry.

Monday, November 12th: We drew from the entry box at the Korner Kitchen in Lebanon. The Daily Prize: A $50.00 gift certificate from Macro Solutions. WINNER: Kristi Collins of Lebanon won the daily prize and will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing for the Civil War Tickets.

How to Increase Your Odds of Winning
If you entered be sure to listen during the Morning Update (AM 1580 KGAL) with Radio Ray and Weldon Greig for your name to be drawn and announced.
Check the drawing locations list (to the left). Be sure to listen on the days we draw from your contest entry location.
If your name is drawn You will have 60 minutes to call to verify your entry. Call at 541-451-5425 or 541-926-5425.
If you can not listen during the time(s) that your entry may be drawn have your family, friends, and co-workers listen for you. Have them phone you or even text message you so you can call in within the 60 minute time period to win the daily Prize.

Just stop by any or all off our sponsor locations (see list on this web page) and fill out an official Civil War Madness Contest KGAL/KSHO Contest Entry Form at those locations per rules.
Be sure to fill out the entire entry form. We just need your name, address, phone number and email address (if available). Note we will not share this information or sell this information to any third party. This information shall remain confidential.
One Entry Per Household Per Day Per Box Location
You must 18 Years of age or more to enter the contest.
No purchase necessary
Some Sponsors (such as Guaranty and Parable Christian Books) will have more than one entry box for entry convenience. Those sponsor boxes will be combined into one sponsor drawing.

Civil War Madness 2007
Contest Official Rules
1. Entries will be accepted from October 1st, 2007 through the day the entry box will be picked up, sometime during sponsor(s) business hours on Thursday, November 8th, 2007.
Limits: a) One Entry per household per day per sponsor location. b) No Purchase Necessary c) Must be 18 years of age or greater to enter. d) Employees and immediate family of sponsor cannot enter at sponsor location. e) Employees and immediate family of KGAL are not eligible to enter this contest. f) Entry must be complete, legible and on an official contest entry form.
2. Starting Monday, November 12th, KGAL will randomly draw at one name from at least one sponsor location box per day. Once we have a finalist from each sponsor location there will be no drawings from that sponsor entry box.
Radio Ray will conduct drawing sometime during the 6am - 8 am time period, Monday-Friday on dates indicated in Paragraph 3 of rules.
The selected contestant(s) name will be announced on air and contestant will then have 1 hour to phone in to qualify.
KGAL will verify from caller the phone number and address from the entry form. a) Verified Caller will win finalist daily prize and they then qualify for the Grand Prize Drawing Pool (for pair of tickets to the game). Entrants can win finalist daily prize only once. b) If drawn name does not call in during the one hour time period, the business of the day will be drawn again later in contest, entry form will not be returned to entry box.
3. The daily drawings will be conducted from Monday, November 12th through Wednesday, November 28th, except for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22nd (12 business days).
Names drawn will be announced on NewsTalk 1580 KGAL during the morning update the date of the drawing.
4. Daily winner prizes will be randomly determined and not from the sponsor location of the drawing box.
5. On Thursday, November 29th, between 6am-8am we will then draw from Grand Prize Qualifying Drawing winner pool (Daily Winners).
A name will be drawn and said person will have one hour to call in to claim the Grand Prize. KGAL will verify from caller the phone number and address from the entry form
a) In the event we do not get Grand Prize issued within the first one hour time period on November 29th, we will continue to draw a name or multiple names hourly until prize is claimed until 5pm on said date, and again 6am-Noon the following day, 11/30/2007, if necessary. In event by 1pm on 11/29/2007 we still have not had a caller respond and be verified within the allocated time we will draw from remaining pool the name of the Grand Prize Winner who will not have to call in to win.
In the event on November 29th, all of Featured Business daily prizes have not been awarded that/those daily prize(s) will be grouped with Listener Grand Prize.

7. In the event contestant(s) break limit of One Entry per household per day per location rule, KGAL reserves the right to bar contest entry for this entire contest at all contest entry locations. KGAL reserves the right to eliminate an entry if not legible, complete or does not comply with contest rules.
8. Taxes: Winners of Grand Prize packages and all runners up winner packages are personally responsible for any taxes that may apply to said winnings.
