Contest Summary. The contest will be played twice daily during the contest days and time period, a total of 8 contests will be run with eight prize packages issued.

KGAL (AM 1580) Radio Audience will be played a snippet (short segment) of a Beatles Song at lease once (and possibly more times) prior to running of each contest.

Radio Ray (on 1580 KGAL) will announce that it is contest time and that we are taking callers to play the game. We will play the game twice daily during the contest period.

We will take the first caller as the contestant to play the game.

Contestant will be played a snippet (short segment) of a Beatles Song over the phone and on the air live (on 1580 KGAL).

The Contestant will have to correctly identity the song title of the snippet to Win the Prize.

Radio Ray, Weldon Greig (or other morning host personnel) may at their option give clues to the caller.

Winning contestant shall be awarded a pair of tickets to the Concert "1964- The Tribute" in Salem on Friday, 3/16/2007. Each ticket has a value of $54.00 for a prize value of $108.00.

One winner per household for this contest. Must be 18 years of age.

#1 Beatles Tribute Band comes to Salem!

Where were you in 1964? Did you miss seeing the Beatles, LIVE? Well now is your chance to go back in time with "1964-The Tribute" - the #1 Beatles tribute band in the WORLD! The Oregon Symphony Association in Salem brings the four lads to the Salem Armory Auditorium on Friday, March 16, 2007. All attendees are encouraged to dress as you did in 1964!

2006 marks the 22nd anniversary of "1964" and it has been quite a journey. Gary Grimes (Paul), Jimmy Pou (George), Greg George (Ringo), and Mark Benson (John) have been featured on such nationally televised programs as Entertainment Tonight, PM Magazine, CNN, the USA Network and the Nashville Network. In addition, the lads have played Carnegie Hall to sold out crowds over five times. "1964". . . The Tribute is the only Beatles tribute band with a US Federal Court order defining a written agreement with Apple Corps. Ltd. allowing them to perform their show anywhere in the world.

Twenty plus years of researching and performing the Fab Four have made "1964" masters of their craft. According to the late George Harrison's sister Louise, "My friends in "1964 - The Tribute" have captured the essence of the Beatles live onstage. The look, the sound is incredible. Special Seating!! For this special concert, 18 VIP floor tables will be set up in front of the stage at the Armory. Seats are $75 per person ($600 per table of 8) and include Premium Seating, VIP Parking, Era Favors at each table, and concert memorabilia. These seats are only sold through the OSAS office and are very limited so call 503-364-0149.

Please note: This is part of the Pops Series by the Oregon Symphony Association in Salem. Note that the Oregon Symphony orchestra does not perform. This special concert to be held at the Salem Armory Auditorium.

Single tickets can be purchased through TicketsWest by calling 1-800-992-8499 or by visiting their web site at www.TicketsWest.com (a service fee will be added). Ticket prices are $26, $36, $44, $54. There are no service charges when purchased at the box office the night of concert (box office opens at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory). In addition, a $5 student ticket rate applies at the box office for any student, any age, with id, for any available seat (floor tables are excluded). Parking at the adjacent State Fairgrounds will be $3 per car.
