NEW! Snow Storms of December 2008. This is the biggest december snowstorm since the December 1968 storm which left 8 to 14 inches of snow across Portland and Vancouver areas. It is the biggest snowstorm of the winter season since the January 1980 storm.
December 14th 2006 Wind Storm. This was the strongest wind storm in over a decade with 100+ MPH winds, 4 reported dead as a result of the storm. In the Western Oregon area over 250,000 were without power and in the Greater Seattle Area over 1 million were without power.
